WebJan 25, 2024 · It would be fun to have multi use lots but unfortunately you can not do this in TS4. Your sim can live on your retail lot, say in an upstairs section and this works fine with locked doors. But you do also need to have a residential lot that your sims bills will be sent to and where children/teens go home to after school and where babies live on. WebFor every single retail lot in the game, I get the error, "Sims can only purchase unowned retail stores or unoccupied residential lots". It doesn't matter whether it is a pre-made lot or one I've converted to a retail lot. I can buy residential lots fine. I did have mods in my game, I have removed these and the same issue occurs.
